Who We Are

Founded in 1982, TECI «Tunisian Engineering et Construction Industrielle” is a multidisciplinary engineering company headquartered in Tunis, Tunisia.

Created under the initiative of Tunisian largest companies in Phosphate rock mining and phosphate-based fertilisers, oil and gas (CPG, GCT, and ETAP), in a strategic perspective vision targeting capitalization and enhancement of Tunisian expertise in the fields of phosphate, oil and gas extraction and transformation, phosphate processing, mining industry, TECI has rapidly developed other areas of skills in many industrial fields.

TECI is 74% owned by the largest Tunisian industrial Companies: the Tunisian Chemical Group GCT, the Phosphates Company of Gafsa CPG, the Tunisian Company of Petroleum Activities ETAP and Tunisian financial institutions.

For the present TECI provides engineering services, for the local and overseas market, and participate in all areas of industrial engineering, especially in phosphates and chemical fertilizers, oil & gas.

Relying on its extended experience and flexibility, TECI has accomplished several hundred of Industrial Projects and is able to implement, with high level of expertise, all project phases from conception design, feasibility studies to commissioning, start-up act, test-run and project delivery.

The availability, of high-level skilled resources, enables TECI to meet challenge after challenge and continue to fulfil all its customer commitments.

Comprising several dozen of highly qualified engineers, senior technicians and designers, TECI staff can be quickly reinforced by high-level skilled senior experts and consultants covering various fields of competency.

TECI is committed to developing its talent pool in order to continue to grow its business.

Each employee is tasked with creating an “individual development plan,” which includes specific learning objectives for growth within his current position and to prepare for the next steps in his career progression.

TECI Staff training program is supported by the adoption of the “70-15-15” principle, by which TECI acknowledges that 70% of learning happens on the job through solution of real-life challenges. Dialogue and feedback from supervisors and peers provides another 15%. Formal training and e-Learning represent the final 15%.

Efficient IT tools and platforms associated with cutting-edge technical software enable TECI to perform the services entrusted to it at the lowest cost and on time.
